Recently, a video by popular YouTuber and Roblox player Ruben Sim went viral; however, unlike many viral videos about the Internet, it was not funny at all. Even Ruben Sim, who does, I admit, joke about awful things, did not find this as something to joke about. Ruben Sim took this so far, he got not just Roblox involved, but the real-life law enforcement because if this rumour is true, people are already being abused and more are to come if he is not stopped. The rumour? MisterObvious is a pedophile.
MisterObvious is a Roblox developer whom many (used to?) look up to. An animator, builder, and more for games and videos, including famous yet not done game "Hexaria". His recognition of his development skills were proven by the community itself when he won the annual "Bloxy Awards" in two thousand fourteen, an event many watch live as members of Roblox get nominated for various categories. After Ruben Sim's video, however, MisterObvious was looked down upon by a lot of the community. Sim's video includes both visual and aural evidence. His proof was given by people he claimed were victims or people who know the victims of MisterObvious' sexual harassment. He kept these people anonymous in order to keep them from further harassment, as he had evidence that MisterObvious sent abusive messages to those who revealed him for that he apparently is; in fact, Sim took the case to his local police. He claims that they are either ignoring him or investigating this horror.
Sim showed text messages and audio he found uploaded by victims, friends of victims, or MisterObvious himself. MisterObvious, as shown in text messages between Sim and him, did not react kindly after Sim pointed out MisterObvious' suspected (and nearly proven) acts—instantly, MisterObvious attacked his claims, evidence, and victims, according to Sim. Eventually, Sim was blocked by MisterObvious and could no longer communicate with him. He spoke to the victims in Discord and protected their identity. He got reports that MisterObvious had given certain individuals a rank with an abusive name; these were people who spoke against him. MisterObvious is said to have sent abusive messages to exes on Twitter on an alternate account.
MisterObvious presumably sent audio files of him moaning during masturbation in attempt to attract females aged thirteen to fifteen. He is said to be exactly twenty-two years old, furthermore increasing fear of him being a pedophile. MisterObvious used to work with various other famous developers. Proof suggesting he harassed people sexually is that, after people started calling him out for such predatory acts, he made his Twitter profile private and made his bio a personal attack on Roblox developer Ejob and one of the people he probably sexually harassed. This person was anonymous in the video which this screenshot was taken from. Currently, his bio is "Will miss ya." His current username is "Goodbye MiserO". He now has six followers and has deleted all of his Tweets. MisterObvious has changed his profile one Roblox to say goodbye in his "About" section.
MisterObvious claims he is quitting Roblox and Twitter and developing. He no longer has a huge fan count and is said to still be harassing people in order to have "some sick sexual rush". According to Sim, he asked a victim for the location of her school and more personal information, the most shocking being that he asked if he could see her naked. Completely. Though it is unknown what he planned to do from there, many may suspect it is rape. And in the country these people are probably in, this is underage and sexual abuse.
MisterObvious sent suggestive photos and audio as well as text. He claimed he was masturbating while talking to one girl and had "passionate moans". He sent a disturbing audio of him moaning. A more disturbing case is when he sent a video of himself to another young female of him rubbing his genitals within his clothes; however, the next video he sent was of him masturbating with his genitals exposed. This was likely an attempt to attract the female and lure them into having sexual intercourse with him. MisterObvious is not banned on Roblox and it is unknown if he ever will.
MisterObvious closed one of his games on Roblox (and probably closed more). This was his animation studio which he renamed to "Good night sweet prince." He later reopened it as an attempt to gain his fans back again, according to Sim. MisterObvious has not been known to be contacted by anyone on Roblox anymore. The below image is a a user on Twitter claiming that he sexually harassed young girls in his Discord server and warned others that you might not know what kind of person you're really talking to. There is also a screenshot of a conversation between him and a young girl.
